ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in any major.
  • One page personal essay or supporting letter written in English.
  • English proficiency: TOEFL 550 PBT, 213 CBT and 79 IBT or IELTS 6.0, or other recognized English test.  Applicants without appropriate qualifications can take the SUIC English Language test.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

  • Create managers that are capable and comfortable to manage a global business.
  • Develop a labor pool armed with the latest skills and enhance the competitiveness of Thai companies.
  • To enhance the image of Thai Management, products and services.
  • To further diversify the current offering at Silpakorn University International College, broadening the range of studies and promoting the excellence of Silpakorn University as a truly multi discipline university.

TEACHING METHOD

Through problem based learning (PBL) and an international faculty, students are exposed to a professional development approach which will result in them gaining knowledge together with critical managerial competencies. Students are expected to participate actively throughout the program. Faculty consists of industry professionals together with leading academics within Thailand.

PROGRAM ORGANIZATION
The program consists of eight required courses, three elective courses and a three credit Individual study and internship. Required courses install core competencies and knowledge needed to be a successful international manager. Elective courses allow student’s to specialize and gain in-depth understanding of a specific area.

ELECTIVE SUBJECTS:
Cross Cultural Communication, International Threat Management, Global Business Communications, International Business Conduct and Ethics, Project Management, Negotiation Strategies, Organizational Development, International Leadership, Global Supply Chain Management, Seminar in International Business, International Finance and ASEAN Business Culture.
