Silpakorn University International College has a strong policy in thriving research, creative works, and other related academic performances of faculty members, students, and academic staff by various means. Researchers are requires to consider the code of ethics in conducting research and following Silpakorn University’s regulations in arranging their research or creative work proposal for any financial funding and reward. 


 Code of Ethics in conducting the research 

Research and Creative Work Procedures
SUIC has the protocol for considering academic research and creative works as follows.
Research, creative work, book production grant request
 
1. Submission of the form and evidences required to the assistant secretary of the SUIC sub-committee of research and creative works
2. After checking all documents submitted, the assistant secretary of the SUIC sub-committee of research and creative works will schedule a meeting with the sub-committee members (1st meeting).
3. The sub-committee will propose a peer-reviewer(s) to evaluate the work.
 Sending the work to the peer-reviewer(s)  the work evaluated by the peer-reviewer(s)                 
  Evaluation of results
4. 2nd meeting - Inform the sub-committee members of the evaluation results (and third meeting if needed)
5. Once the work has been approved, the chairman of the sub-committee will propose the request to the Director to be included in an agenda of the SUIC executive committee meeting.
6. The applicant will be informed of the result after the meeting

Reward for research publication or creative work dissemination
 
Support for research presentation in an academic conference
 
There are four steps in the reward procedure to which reguire the applicant to comply.

 

 
1. Submission of the form and evidences required to the assistant secretary of the SUIC sub-committee of research and creative works

3. Once approved, the chairman of the sub-committee will propose the request to the Director to be included in an agenda of the SUIC executive committee meeting.
