HOW TO APPLY
- The Program Application Form can be downloaded from our website www.suic.org or can be collected at SUIC Office.
- Pay the application fee 500 Baht via 1. money transfer 2. money order 3. in person.
- Here is the list of required documents, which must be attached to the application form.
- Official certificates of formal education.
- A high school transcript and certificate for BBA and BFA programme, and a bachelor degree transcript and certificate for MBA (A certificate must be recognized by Ministry of Education, Royal Thai Government)
- Copy of official identification documents (Passport, I.D. card, etc).
- Copy of official English language test score: TOEFL, IELTS, or other approved qualifications, and the verified score must be no older than two years from the application date. Applicants without appropriate qualifications must sit the SUIC English Language test.
- Copy of house registration.
- 3 passport size photographs (1.5”).
- Submit the application form, the required documents, and a receipt of money transfer in person or post them to Silpakorn University.
Interview
On receipt of the Program Application Form, inclusive of all required documents, the Admission Committee assesses your application. Following initial assessment the Program Chair or representative invites candidates for an interview and portfolio review (BFA only). Successful candidates will be informed within 2 weeks via phone and official announcement on SUIC's website. In case of rejection, a brief written explanation of the reasons will be provided. Drawing Test (BFA in Multimedia Design only)
Students are required to take a Drawing and Design skills test and need to bring their own drawing tools (ex. pencils, pens, markers, colors and etc.) Avoid using water based materials.
Port Folio Review (BFA in Multimedia Design only)
Submit art and design portfolio witch included photographed and/or scanned works of art (such as paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc.) graphic, time-based, interactive, digital work on a CD or DVD (compatible with both PC. and MAC).
Download a portfolio inventory sheet that indicates the title of work, medium/format, dimensions, date of completion, running time, software used, and any other related information about each piece in the portfolio. Label CD or DVD and case with your full-name, address, and phone number.
- Images should be saved as high quality JPEG files (with a file suffix of .jpg or .jpeg format), Adobe .pdf files, or digital portfolios created in PowerPoint, Director, Flash or HTML.
- Images should be saved at 72 dpi screen resolution with a minimum height/width of 1,000 pixels.
- Digital portfolios should be checked to assure that links work properly and all necessary files are included.
- Students should indicate whether special instructions are necessary for the viewing of digital portfolios.
- An inventory sheet must be attached.
- Work should be submitted in a platform-independent player format or in QuickTime with the file suffix labeled as .qt or .mov (.mpeg format is also acceptable).
- Applicants interested in presenting a film and television portfolio should submit work in a multimedia format or as a 5-minute sample on DVD.
- An inventory sheet must be attached.
Submit the application form, the required documents, and a receipt of money transfer in person or post them to Silpakorn University.

Important!
Don’t forget to specific your full name and student number on the transfer order.
A Letter of Certification from the Ministry of Education, the Royal Thai Government.
In case you graduated from abroad you need to request a letter of certification from the Ministry of Education, the Royal Thai Government to certify that your education is equivalent to Thai standards, and you need to attach this letter with your certificate to apply for SUIC programmes.
You can get this letter by going to the Office of Basic Commission, Ministry of Education with the following documents.
- 200 Baht fee.
- Original educational degree or original certificate with two copies and original transcript with one copy.
- Two 2-inched black and white photos (no sunglasses and hat) taken within the last six months.
- Translation into English of all documents. (if not English documents)
- ID card or passport with one copy.
- Certification letter to guarantee the change of name or surname (if any), with one copy.
- A letter to certify that the applicants previous educational establishment is reputable academic institution, guaranteed by the Ministry of Education or the Embassy from the applicants own country.
- Original certificate or certification letter from the last academic institute in Thailand if applicable with one copy.
- Curriculum, admission criteria and course description
Remark: Requestor is required to submit this letter with attached documents in person.
